ABOUT

Abu Dhabi, since 2009

AOS builds business systems for industries where the software has to satisfy an auditor, not just a user — inspection bodies, certification bodies, laboratories, insurance, schools. Sixteen years of it, from two offices in the UAE.

What we have built

Mostly websites by count. Mostly systems by weight. These are the ones we have built more than once, which is the only kind of experience worth claiming.

Inspection body management

Job scheduling, field capture, report generation and certificate issue for ISO/IEC 17020 inspection bodies.

Certification body management

Audit planning, findings, decisions and certificate lifecycle for ISO/IEC 17021 and 17065 bodies.

Online examination

Question banks, invigilated sessions and results for personnel certification bodies under ISO/IEC 17024.

Mobile field inspection

Offline-capable capture on site, syncing to the office system when signal returns.

Remote and online audits

Evidence collection, checklists and audit trails for audits conducted without travelling.

Laboratory systems

Sample tracking, test workflows and report issue for testing and calibration laboratories.

Insurance broker systems

Quotations, policy administration, renewals and commission tracking for UAE brokers.

TPA claims systems

Claim intake, adjudication, provider networks and settlement for third-party administrators.

School management

Admissions, timetabling, attendance, assessment and parent communication.

ERP

Finance, inventory, procurement, HR and supply chain, built to the sector rather than configured around it.

CRM

Pipeline, quotations, contracts and after-sales, connected to the systems that already hold your data.

E-commerce

Storefronts, payment, fulfilment and stock, integrated with the back office rather than bolted beside it.

Why this matters now

Building for inspection bodies and laboratories means every record has to be traceable, every change logged, and every output defensible to an assessor. That discipline is unglamorous and it is the reason we are the right people to advise on AI.

Most AI advice starts with which tool to buy. Ours starts with where your data goes — because we have spent sixteen years building systems where that question had a legal answer.

ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 qualified

Our AI specialist holds qualifications in ISO 27001 for information security management and ISO 9001 for quality management. That is the basis on which we advise UAE companies on adopting AI without exposing their data.

Why we do not name our clients

Most agencies open with a wall of client logos. We do not publish ours. The systems we build hold inspection records, audit findings, medical claims, examination results and student data — information our clients are contractually and legally obliged to protect.

A supplier who advertises which regulated bodies trust them with that data has already told you something about how they treat it. We work to ISO 27001 practice, and confidentiality is not a marketing decision.

What we can do is be specific about the work. If you run an inspection body, a laboratory or a brokerage, the detail below will tell you whether we have built your system before.

What "we have built this before" means

Detail is the only honest substitute for a client list. If you work in one of these fields, you will recognise whether this was written by someone who has shipped the system or someone who has read about it.

Inspection bodies — ISO/IEC 17020

Job allocation against inspector competence and scope. Field capture that works with no signal and reconciles on sync. Report templates versioned so a two-year-old certificate can still be reproduced exactly as issued. Impartiality declarations recorded per job, not per year.

Certification bodies — ISO/IEC 17021 and 17065

Audit programme planning across the three-year cycle. Findings raised, responded to and closed with evidence attached. Certification decisions separated from the audit team in the system, not just in the procedure. Suspension, withdrawal and scope reduction handled as first-class states.

Personnel certification — ISO/IEC 17024

Question banks with item analysis so weak questions get retired. Randomised papers drawn to a blueprint rather than at random. Invigilated sessions with identity checks. Recertification windows that chase the candidate before they lapse, not after.

Laboratories — ISO/IEC 17025

Sample chain of custody from receipt to disposal. Equipment calibration due-dates that block a test from being recorded on out-of-calibration kit. Method versions bound to results. Uncertainty carried through to the report rather than added at the end.

Insurance brokers and TPAs

Quotation comparison across insurers with commission calculated per product and per tier. Policy renewals that surface sixty days out. Claims intake through adjudication to settlement, with provider network pricing and rejection reasons that reconcile at month end.

Schools

Admissions through to alumni. Timetabling that respects teacher load and room capacity. Attendance that reconciles against the register the authority actually asks for. Assessment recorded once and rendered into whichever report format the curriculum requires.

If any of that describes a problem you currently solve with spreadsheets and email, that is the conversation worth having.

Frequently asked questions

When was AOS founded?
AOS was established in Abu Dhabi in September 2009 under commercial licence CN-1170796. We opened a second office in Al Qusais, Dubai.
What kind of software do you build?
Business systems for regulated and operational industries: inspection and certification bodies, laboratories, insurance brokers and third-party administrators, schools, and companies needing ERP or CRM built to their sector rather than configured around it.
Do you only work in the UAE?
The UAE is our market and both offices are here. Our systems run for clients operating beyond it, but the relationships that work best are the ones where we can sit in the room.
What changed about your services?
We now do three things: build websites AI assistants can read, put AI inside business software, and advise on adopting AI safely. Everything we learned building systems for regulated industries feeds the third one directly.

Sixteen years. Three services.

Tell us what you need and we will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit. Projects start from AED 2,500.
